Mission Statement

The California Ground Transportation Regulatory Group (CGTRG) serves as a central hub connecting California’s ground transportation industry with key state and local government agencies, including the Governor’s Office, California Legislature, California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC)

California Highway Patrol (CHP), California regional airports, and the California Department of Insurance.

Through advocacy, education, communication, and collaboration, CGTRG brings together chauffeured transportation operators, industry vendors, regulatory agencies, industry experts, and other stakeholders to address the evolving needs and challenges facing California’s ground transportation industry.

Our mission is to promote education, strengthen industry relationships, encourage open dialogue with regulatory agencies, and provide a unified resource for information and advocacy that supports a safe, compliant, informed, and successful ground transportation community throughout California.

Advocacy Matters

California Legislation

The California Ground Transportation Regulatory Group (CGTRG) will actively advocate on behalf of all permitted luxury ground transportation companies in the state of California creating a unified voice before our state officials in Sacramento.

California Public Utilities Commission

The California Ground Transportation Regulatory Group (CGTRG) diligently monitors compliance standards with state regulations, licensing requirements, and safety standards, ensuring that all ground transportation providers operate within a framework that prioritizes public safety.

California Department of insurance

Commercial insurance is one of the critical operating expenses in today's minds of all luxury ground transportation operators. The California Ground Transportation Regulatory Group (CGTRG) and its task force will begin dialogue with all stakeholders and advocate for solutions in commercial coverages and providing public safety.

California airports are dynamic environments that require continuous relationships with landside operations and ground transportation permit holders. The California Ground Transportation Regulatory Group (CGTRG) will cultivate and maintain these relations and opportunities with airport staff and its stakeholders.
